Training December 12, 2014


I have an out of town wedding to attend this weekend so I had to go five days straight again this week.  Felt a lot better than last week.

Warm-Up
EMOM 15
M1: 40 Double Unders
M2: 8 Burpees
M3: 20 Air Squats
M4: 8 Box Jumps/Step Down
M5: 10 GHDSU

Weighted Ring Dip
2 RM with 0:02 pause at top
100 lbs.

Almost blew an o-ring getting on top of the rings on that second rep.

Front Squat
5-5-5 20X1 Tempo
225, 245, 265

These felt great (so much better than last week)!  Nailed the tempo and felt much more explosive out of the bottom than I have in a long time.  Definitely had some more in me.

Every 3:00 for 18:00 (6 Sets)
10 Box Jump Overs 24"
10 Calorie Row
10 Burpees
30 Double Unders
1:43, 1:42, 1:40, 1:39, 1:49, 1:53
Got into a good rhythm on box jump overs in rounds three and four. Round 5 included a wipe out on the box jump overs and one miss on the double unders. Took a little extra rest before the double unders in round six to make sure I didn’t have any misses.
