Bending Bars!
(Not Really...)


Snatch Pull to hips + Full Snatch
15:00 Max
Worked up to 165 lbs.

Trying to lose an early arm bend.  This seemed to help.  Not the greatest snatches, but they felt okay.

These felt pretty good.  The second rep at 355 was a battle.

Workout partner: We are only doing 5 minutes of clean & jerks?  What are we going to do after we are done?

Me: Lie on the floor for 10 minutes.

Him: I mean, what are we doing for the workout after we are done with the clean and jerks?

Me: Talk to me in 5 minutes.


I thrustered every last one of these suckers.  Started off blazing by getting 10 the first minute.  By rep 13 or 14, my facial expression began to change and the pace slowed considerably.  Cleans felt great. The thruster part got pretty difficult in there somewhere!  I was kinda hoping for 35, but overall, I am pretty happy with this.

  1. Solid day of training! The 165 snatch looked great. No early bend, and a solid catch/punch through. Love the comments about the 5:00 wod. Well done!
