Training January 13, 2015
Started off with some skill work:
EMOM10
Odd: 6 HSPU (Kipping)
Even: 10 CTBPU
This all felt good. HSPU felt especially good.
And then:
EMOM18
M1: 4 Push Jerk 165 lbs. + 4 Burpees
M2: 3 Ring Muscle Ups
M3: 50 Double Unders
No fails on anything here.
Going back tonight to get some rowing or Airdyne work in.
Back to the gym:
Rowing
5 x 500m
Pace 1:38/500m
Rest 2:00
1:37.9, 1:38.0, 1:38.6, 1:37.7, 1:45.7
First three rounds were done Rx, but ahem, there may have been some extended rest time between rounds 4 and 5. I was completely lactic in the fifth round, even with extended rest. For some reason, these blow my legs up. Lungs felt okay, legs (even my calves!) felt like bags of ready-mix.
